Meet Our Hygiene Team

Claudia Merritt, RDH

Claudia has been in the dental field for 26 years. She began her career as a Registered Dental Assistant, receiving her certificate from Diablo Valley College in 1993. She then worked as a surgical assistant in a Periodontal Office for several years. She went on to receive her Registered Dental Hygiene Degree from Diablo Valley College in 1997.

She holds a BA from St. Mary’s College in Business Management. She has taught at Diablo Valley College part time since 2003. Claudia is a member of the Mt. Diablo Dental Hygiene Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Hygiene Association and the California Dental Hygiene Educators Association.

Claudia has a passion for Dental Hygiene and educating her patients. She takes pride in her work and what she offers to every patient. Her goal is to make lives healthier one smile at a time.

Outside of work, family and friends fill her time. She has lived in Danville for over 30 years. Claudia is married with three married children. Her 8 grandchildren bring her such joy!

Claudia is also passionate about giving back to our communities. She volunteers her time as a mentor for foster children and also volunteers her time at a local garden that donates 100 percent of their fresh vegetables to local food banks.

Cynthia Dillon, RDH

Cynthia began her dental hygiene career in 2010 after graduating from Chabot College. Cynthia’s passion for oral health has motivated her to expand her education by taking continuing education courses including classes for laser certification and advanced instrumentation. With Cynthia’s 15 year background working in customer service, she prides herself on providing excellent chairside manner and building a rapport with her patients so as to better understand each patient’s oral health needs.

Cynthia is a Bay Area native and is married with two sons. In their spare time her family enjoys going to parks, bowling, and going to sporting events.

Stephanie Godillo, RDH

Stephanie began her career as a dental hygienist in 2010 after graduating from her certification program at Diablo Valley College. We were lucky to have Stephanie join our Danville Dentistry team in 2011. Stephanie’s comforting chair-side manor enables anxious patients to feel at ease. She also works hard to educate and encourage her patients in a friendly and understanding way. When Stephanie is not caring for her patients she enjoys spending time in the mountains with her husband and 3 kids.
