Dr. Robert Morrish received his B.A. in Zoology from University of California at Berkeley in 1967. He attended University of California at San Francisco Dental School and received his B.S. and D.D.S. degrees in 1971. Upon graduation he was an American Cancer Fellow in Dental Oncology. He started private practice in 1972.

In addition to his Danville practice Dr. Morrish has taught at UCSF in the Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain Temporomandibular Joint Departments from 1972 to 1998. He maintains an appointment, as an Associate Professor, in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at UCSF and is currently assisting the University in Continuing Education with remedial instruction of dentists that are on probation with the State Board.

Dr. Morrish established and ran a two-day-a-month Oral Medicine and Temporomandibular Joint practice in Rancho Cordova, California, from 1994-2003. He has taught the Art and Science of Oral Reconstruction and Mastication to Post-Graduate dentists at UCSF. He has published these facts in Chapters of several books. He has published articles and given many lectures on topics ranging from General Dentistry, Orofacial Pain, Temporomandibular Joint Disorders, Oral Medicine, and Dental Oncology. He has lectured both Nationally and Internationally.

Dr. Morrish is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Contra Costa Dental Society; past member of the American Equilibration Society, and American Academy of General Dentistry where he achieved his Fellowship recognition. He has been an officer and President of the Local County American Cancer Society. His administration founded the successful Society Thrift Shops and founded the Great American Smokeout National smoking cessation day just before Thanksgiving of each year.

He has been married since 1970 and has a daughter, Lynne, who graduated from UCLA with a degree in Communications. He wife, Marilyn, worked as an executive in the Health Care Field for 33 years. His favorite pastimes when not lecturing or working are fishing and golfing.
