Dr. Allan has taken a medical disability retirement.

Dr. Allan received her B.S. magna cum laude from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her second B.S. and D.D.S. Omicron Kappa Upsilon from University of California, San Francisco. This honor is reserved for only the top 10% of graduates and is based on outstanding academic, clinical, and extracurricular performance. She then completed a competitive General Practice Residency and has advanced training in all phases of dentistry. Dr Allan has also received several national research awards and has spoken at several professional meetings. She was the recipient of the Morris Award from the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology for her outstanding research while in dental school and presented her research at the annual meeting for the Academy in Florida. This award is given to only one outstanding dental student annually out of a nation-wide pool of applicants.

Dr. Allan has completed an intensive course in preparation, design, and cementation of Lumineers by Cerinate. This is a revolutionary procedure where we can place veneers on your teeth without anesthetic or drilling on sensitive tooth structure. Dr. Allan has also completed both basic training and a masters course in our new CEREC design system. The CEREC allows us to place all porcelain inlays, onlays, and crowns using the latest CAD-CAM technology right in our office in only one visit.

Dr. Allan has been married for 15 years and has boy-girl twins that attend Sycamore Valley Elementary School. Her husband, Mark, has worked as a Civil Engineer at East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) since 1992. Her hobbies include all sports but she especially loves playing soccer and softball, snow skiing, and coaching soccer. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
